Join NMAM and be a part of New Mexico's only professional organization dedicated to improving practice within the museum community! NMAM Membership is for a 12-month period to coincide with the annual Fall meeting. Renewals are mailed a month before your membership expires.

NMAM membership benefits include:

  • The NMAM newsletter Links. A great source of information about museums and museum people throughout the state, technical information, and more;
  • Annual Meeting.  The highlight of the many NMAM activities and a chance to exchange ideas and information with colleagues.  Membership entitles one member to attend the Annual Meeting at the member rate;
  • Representation.  NMAM sends representatives to the Mountain Plains Museums Association and the American Association of Museums;
  • Sponsored Workshops.  Training on a variety of subjects to help you in the museum profession;
  • NMAM website and list serve.

Membership Levels

  • Individual Member:
    • Regular Member $ 20.
    • Contributing Member $ 30.
    • Student $15.
    • Retired Professional $15.
  • Institutional Member: (based on institutional budget)
    • $0 - $50,000. $ 25.
    • $50,000. - $100,000. $ 35.
    • $100,001. - $250,000. $ 50.
    • $250,001. - $500,000. $ 75.
    • $500,001. - $1,000,000. $100.
    • $1,000,001. and above $125.
  • Business Member:
    • Private Practice Individual $ 35.
    • Small Business (1-8 people) $ 50.
    • Corporate Sponsor (8 or more) $100.
    • Corporate Underwriter $200.
