development workshops for small museum staff on museum security,
collections care, exhibitions, and museum environments.
Other Organizations that Offer Workshops and Training
The
New Mexico Commission of Public Records (Part of the State Records
Center and Archives) offers low cost workshops on all aspects of
archives and archival management, including disaster training. They
also have a limited number of scholarships for their workshops.
AMIGOS
offers training both for the Library and Archives Communities. They
are a regional training center and offer many workshops each year
in New Mexico. Their topics range over the topics of grant writing,
disaster planning, archival management and care of archival collections.
