A
group of museums were chosen to receive assistance and mentoring
with infrastructure improvements as Participant Museums in the Museum
Infrastructure Project. Each museum received environmental monitoring
equipment. The staff from these museums was required to attend the
professional development workshops as part of their program. During
the first year of the Museum Infrastructure Project, the participant
museums were:
At the beginning 2003, a second group of museums was chosen to
become Participant Museums in the Museum Infrastructure Project.
The new museums are:
Our hope is that as the Infrastructure Project goes forward, we
will add more Participant Museums and that as museums move through
the program, they will become mentors to other museums in the state.
