Pecos National Historical Park and Greer Garson Ranch House
Explore 12,000 years of history, including the ancient pueblo of Pecos, Colonial Missions, Santa Fe Trail sites, the site of the Civil War Battle of Glorieta Pass, and 20th century history of Forked Lightning Ranch. See the visitors’ center and go on a tour of the mission and Pueblo ruins. A picnic lunch will be followed by a visit to the Forked Lightning Ranch house designed by architect John Gaw Meem.
